"ENTERTAINER OF THE DECADE"

Gerald Levert's solo career began in May 1991 with the release of  "PRIVATE LINE".   For the following decade (plus) he remained consistent in turning out songs for the soul.

Gerald Levert's name will forever be synonymous with "romance". People from all walks of life can relate to his no nonsense, often frank look at love, lust, and life.

In addition to his extraordinary talent, Gerald is a humble man who never took his talent, career, or success lightly.

To recognize and celebrate Gerald Levert's stellar career and amazing contributions to the music industry, G. PHI G. presented Gerald Levert with the "ENTERTAINER OF THE DECADE" award on January 14, 2001. Additionally this award commemorated his ten year career as a solo artist.

Following Gerald's flawless performance at the Silver Star Resort and Casino in Philadelphia MS, the six founding members of G.PHI G. made the official presentation.

In addition to the award, Gerald received several other gifts. He was in awe to say the least. The ladies were just elated to have the opportunity to pay a personal tribute to the one and only GERALD LEVERT!
