The sorority for GERALD LEVERT

July 13, 1966 - November 10, 2006

Girls' Primary  Honey Is Gerald - G. PHI G. was the brain child of the late Telisha Johnson of Birmingham, AL. She, along with Anne Carter of Alexandria, VA; Rosaland Chambers, of Tuscaloosa, AL; Chriscynthia Lacey, of Los Angeles, CA; Stacie Maxwell of San Deigo, CA; and Robin Jones, of Washington DC, who met on the Internet, started what is today the first and only sorority ever created for a recording artist.

On July 13, 2000 the late GERALD LEVERT, Atlantic Records premier artist, became the recipient of his very own sorority.

 G. PHI G. was created to promote his phenomenal talent, illustrious career, and to link his many fans all across the nation and abroad.

To date G. PHI G. has near one thousand members; and various chapters within the sorority known as "lairs".  Women in various states will be forever linked due to their mutual love and admiration for the late Gerald Levert and their quest to keep his memory and music legacy alive.

"And to my girls, G. PHI G.  You all will never know how happy you have made me.  Just to know I have touched your lives makes me wanna keep on."  From the linear notes of "Gerald's World" released in  2001
